Cirad and emerging diseases in the Caribbean

In the Caribbean, Cirad is conducting research on emerging diseases, such as tick-borne and transmitted diseases, West Nile disease, avian influenza and classical swine fever. Through its research, Cirad is part of an international network. It is working to monitor these diseases, which are a priority for the French West Indies, and to develop the CaribVET regional animal health network
